Some of the primary 1 children who were in Busy Bees’ last year planted some carrots and they were ready to be pulled. Mrs McVicker showed them what to do and then the children got to try some in class to see what they tasted like (it was a mixed reaction). The rest of the carrots were then taken to the canteen for the cook Colleen to put into the Bolognese sauce for the next days dinner for the whole school.
