P5 recently enjoyed a visit from the Livestock and Meat Commission (LMC). During the session, pupils learned about the role of the LMC, explored what makes a balanced diet, and watched an engaging live cookery demonstration. They had the opportunity to taste the dish—Chilli Beef Pasta—which proved so popular that many even asked for seconds! To finish, each child received a recipe book to try out new dishes at home, along with a pencil. It was a thoroughly enjoyable and delicious morning for everyone involved.
