P2 have been exploring how to measure length and height. We talked about all the language we use when measuring things and then we used lollipop sticks and found things in the classroom that are longer or shorter than a stick. The next day, we started to think about non-standard measures and used sticks of 5 cubes. We went to the garden and had great fun finding things longer or shorter than 5 cubes and recording this. Practical Maths is so much fun!
