Primary 4 enjoyed a trip to the library yesterday morning. When they arrived, Michael went through all about the library with the children, such as when they are open, how to find a book and how many books you can borrow at one time. The children were happy to know that some of the books in the library are also on the Accelerated Reading system. They enjoyed listening to Michael reading some of ‘The Twits’. Finally, they had the opportunity to explore some of the books. Many children had brought along their library cards to return and borrow new books, while others received their first library card and had the opportunity to borrow a book.
The children thoroughly enjoyed their trip to the library and I’m sure there will be many more trips back!
