The children enjoyed a great trip to Portglenone Forest with their friends from Mt St Michael’s. During the morning the children engaged in a senses treasure hunt, took on the challenge of building a home for a creature/animal that might live in the forest and took part in a scavenger hunt to find different animal homes and insects. We also enjoyed a leisurely stroll around the Forest. After this very active morning the pupils headed to Waves for their lunch. To cool us all down we had a lolly in the park. A great day was had by all.
