Democracy Day in Primary 7! Ten children put themselves forward as candidates to be the class councillors this year. Each child made a speech explaining why they would make a good representative and the ideas they had. It was fantastic to see the thought and effort that all the children who stood put in to their campaigns. It was a great opportunity for them to speak in front of a group.
With all the votes cast the totals were tallied using the Single Transferrable Vote system and congratulations go to Alicia, Daniel, Jade and Lara who were elected.
