P5 have enjoyed a great World Book Day. To begin they arrived in some marvellous costumes. Then they listened to an online interview with David Walliams. After this they moved on to create a Fact File on this famous children’s author. Then they took part in the World Book Day parade around the town. After this they had the opportunity to go and select a book which was kindly gifted by the Charity Shop and showcased the props that they made. After lunch the P5 children took met up with the P1 children and read a selection of story books to them. Many thanks to all the parents for the support with this event. A great day was had by all.
